Meet the team at Sheepish Design

The purpose of Sheepish Design is to redesign the face of the Church online.  Combining mission centered design, content management, and cost effective pricing we are able to meet the unique needs of most Churches.

Because our background is in the Church, we can identify and design to your unique strengths. From traditional to the contemporary and all the community in between, we understand what you value. We approach each project with the intention of communicating these core values; we create websites designed for the flock.

Our mission is to redesign every Church website, making each one a leader in the Online Great Commission.  Through creativity, long-term relationships, and missions-centered designs, we are accomplishing this task one design at a time, one Church at a time.

Luke Frederick

Position: Founder, Consultant & Designer

Growing up in the Church gave me a pillar to draw from in my life journey.  I have spent the last thirteen years working with the church. From a Youth Worker to the Operations Director of a Nonprofit, I have found joy sowing back into the community.

Over the years I have consulted, designed, and project managed for many nonprofits and churches, focusing on their communication efforts. This helped me find one of my passions; communicating the mission of the Church.

Sheepish Design allows me to live out my passion for communicating the vision of churches through smooth website design and intuitive architecture .

Bio: Raised in a creative environment, I was constantly surrounded with typefaces and color swatches. Today, I continue to embrace the art of graphic design as not only a career but a consuming passion and the role it has in the church. With my education from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN and my experience with various clients and forms of media, I seek to incorporate my personal approach with creativity, practicality and timelessness to create sophisticated yet accessible designs.

Stephen Tisch

Position: Communications

Bio: Studying Professional Strategic Communication at the University of Minnesota, I discovered a passion for marketing, advertising, and changing lives. For me, it’s not about achievement, success, prestige, self-accomplishment, or even money. It’s about impact. It’s about taking advantage of each opportunity and influencing things much bigger than myself in a strategic, practical, and innovative way. It is truly wonderful when your business passions align with your spiritual perspectives; Sheepish Design has given me this opportunity. In all I do, to God be the glory!

Steve Miller

Position: Designer

Bio: Hello! I am the legendary Graphic Designer at Sheepish Design - focusing on all design-related projects. I love getting my hands dirty on anything from identity to web design. Both of my parents were in the creative field so it was only natural for me to follow in their footsteps, learning and growing. Recently I became the lead designer and communications officer for the Advertising Federation of Minnesota after obtaining my degree from University of Minnesota. Sheepish Design has been a wonderful way for me to continue growing both as a designer and Christian.

Mark Frederick

Position:  Developer

Bio: I grew up spending many hours by myself drawing pictures of worlds and other images that I could mold to my liking.  This hobby evolved over the years; opening the doors to freelance art projects.  Not only was this skill growing, but the list of art mediums which were used expanded as well.  Alongside the honing of artistic skills, I became engrossed in video games--from the lack of engaging socially, of course. I saw this digital medium as another way to create my dreams and ideas.  These days, I do more than just paint and sculpt digitally. I am engrossed in several programming languages and continue to learn more of them as the days roll by.
