Rotator
Rotators help communicate your core message by combining visual and content communication.  It is a great way to spotlight specific areas of your organization.  

HTML Page  
HTML Pages give you the ability to create and edit normal web pages.  These pages allow you to enter content, pictures, videos, and links. 

Journal - Blog
Journal allows you to create a blog within your website.  From your blog people can leave comments, search your topics, and reference any resources you have uploaded or are linked to. 

Journal Index
Journal Index allows you to index your blog pages.  This menu will represent an archived view of a particular Blog. 

Change Tracker 
Change Tracker is a tool which informs your users of any changes made to the website.  This is a great current events option for your home page. 

Single Link
Single Link allows you to create direct page links to your navigation.  This feature allows a quick way to add subpages to your navigation.  

Login Prompt
Login Prompt allows you to place a login page were users can sign in.  The different permissions given to users will allow them to see hidden pages.  This also allows you to assign website administrators.

Syndicate RSS presents your RSS feeds so users can subscribe to specific pages.  Any updates made on the specified page will be sent to the users subscription manager or email.  

We are very excited to announce the website launch for Nathan Grams, a missionary to Argentina.  They will be raising funds to begin their ministry in Buenos Aires over the next year.  Their new website will aid in sharing their vision, raising resources and staying connected with their partners.

Discovery Process 

The website is themed around three main action points set during the Discovery.  Once we figured these out we developed how they would function in the website.  We also discovered a slogan which clearly communicates their values and mission, "Reaching Buenos Aires together with you."  Both the action points and slogan were tied through their website, videos, prayer cards and E-news letters.

Social Media Setup

We also set up their social media Twitter account, Facebook Page, Vimeo and Flicker accounts.  All themed with the same design in their website. 

This website is a great example of what is possible when you take the time to do a Discovery and take what is developed throughout the website.

Only speak when you have something to say

There is something to be said about simple layouts.  When you are trying get a clear message across, it is esential to utalize this technique.  Simplicity is a weapon when communicating your marketing goals.  Think of it like a business meeting with your core audience.  Only speak when you have something to say.  Why fill the air with words?  It will only minimize the effectiveness of your message.     

Three Coins 

When I'm designing a website I imagine there are four coins on my desk.  Each coin represents a communication objective.  As I am defining the website sitemap and layout I use the coins as a tracking system.  If I have used four coins on a page I reach my limit.  This allows me to really think through the core message and how the site aligns with it.   

Layout Example

Here is a great example of a simple layout.  You can see the core message and the points of sale and data capture right away.  It is not confusing what they are asking you to do.  Distilling your website down to this level is a discipline and may feel uncomfortable.  

We just launched a new micro site for Bridging The Gap, www.btgevents.org.  This Women's Ministry Conference will be held in Minneapolis Minnesota at Emmanuel Christian Center.  The website is a micro-site used to promote only the conference.  This is a great way to increase Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and stylize a website to your events branding.
