Meet the Sheepish Design Team
The purpose of Sheepish Design is to redesign the face of the Church online. Combining mission centered design, content management, and cost effective pricing we are able to meet the unique needs of most Churches.
Because our background is in the Church, we can identify and design to your unique strengths. From traditional to the contemporary and all the community in between, we understand what you value. We approach each project with the intention of communicating these core values; we create websites designed for the flock.
Our mission is to redesign every Church website, making each one a leader in the Online Great Commission. Through creativity, long-term relationships, and missions-centered designs, we are accomplishing this task one design at a time, one Church at a time.
Luke Frederick
Position: Founder, Consultant & Designer
Growing up in the Church gave me a pillar to draw from in my life journey. I have spent the last thirteen years working with the church. From a Youth Worker to the Operations Director of a Nonprofit, I have found joy sowing back into the community.
Over the years I have consulted, designed, and project managed for many nonprofits and churches, focusing on their communication efforts. This helped me find one of my passions; communicating the mission of the Church.
Sheepish Design allows me to live out my passion for communicating the vision of churches through smooth website design and intuitive architecture .
Stephen Tisch
Position: Agency Director
Studying Professional Strategic Communication at the University of Minnesota, I discovered a passion for marketing, advertising, and changing lives. For me, it’s not about achievement, success, prestige, self-accomplishment, or even money. It’s about impact. It’s about taking advantage of each opportunity and influencing things much bigger than myself in a strategic, practical, and innovative way. It is truly wonderful when your business passions align with your spiritual perspectives; Sheepish Design has given me this opportunity. In all I do, to God be the glory!
Julia Wiersum
Position: Project Manager
While studying within the fields of communications and design at the University of Minnesota, my passion for organization and beautiful design intensified. Serving as Project Manager at Sheepish design allows me to combine these two passions with my greatest passion of bringing glory to God and telling others about him. Now that is awesome! One of my favorite things about being on the Sheepish Team is getting excited with my clients about their new website, and how it will help them more effectively reach others with the good news of the Gospel.
Ryan Holmquist
Position: Designer/Developer
I am a servant-minded individual with a passion for designing the mission of the Church. Primarily a graphic designer, development is another skill I use to execute my work as a one-stop shop for building fresh church websites. I'm a self-proclaimed nerd and can be found with one (or two) of my several Apple devices in front of my face. I seek to proclaim Christ in every aspect of my life, both at and outside of work, and I have a committed interest in ministry.
Kyle Ronning
Position: Senior Developer
I've been working as a software developer for over five years building primarily web applications. It has been very rewarding for me because I'm driven by continually learning new things and solving problems. Web technologies are always changing and improving so it's a never ending learning experience. I have a broad skill set that includes designing and building databases, APIs, application and business logic and user interfaces. Working with many creative and innovative people at Sheepish Design, allows us to create beautiful and intuitive user experiences for churches and their members.

Position: Client Relations Coordinator
Hi everyone! I am the newest member of the team. After interning with Sheepish Design, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to become a full-time employee. It’s an honor to join a team of talented individuals that are passionate about what they are doing. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Professional Strategic Communication and knew that I wanted to work in the people side of business. The client relations role I now have with the company fills that desire. It is a joy to build new new relationships and foster existing ones every day.
