When it comes to the design of your ministries it is important that you are personal. Now, this concept of personal is quite vague and can be defined in many different ways. Well, here are a few aspects of being personal to consider; a few aspects that as designers we believe are significant.
Unique – The designs implemented within your Church – website, brochures, mailers, etc. – should be unique. They should represent your audience, your visions, your emotions, and your missions. Being unique to who you are will create brand value within who and what your Church/Ministries stand for.
Relatable – One aspect of being personal is being relatable. The designs of your Ministries must connect with the intended audience; they should be able to relate (physically, emotionally, etc.). The communication of your church should both engage and inform your audience. It must be more than just enticing, more than just informational or pretty.
Relevant – Design that is relevant is one of the most important aspects to being personal. Even the best design in the world will fail if they are not relevant to the situation, audience, and intention. In your Churches be mindful of creating relevant designs; not simply good designs.
